Puppy Imprinting
Give your puppy the best possible start with our structured, positive, and confidence-building imprinting program.
The early weeks of your puppy’s life are incredibly important. During this critical developmental window, puppies are highly impressionable and rapidly forming lifelong habits and associations.
Our Puppy Imprinting Program is designed to guide your puppy through this stage with thoughtful socialization, clear structure, and positive reinforcement.
What Is Puppy Imprinting?
Puppy imprinting focuses on shaping your puppy’s early experiences so they grow into a confident, well-adjusted companion. Through carefully planned exposure, positive training, and structured routines, we help puppies learn how to navigate the world calmly and successfully.
Early socialization and positive exposure during puppyhood play a major role in preventing fear, anxiety, and behavioural challenges later in life. Our program is designed to make the most of this important learning window.

Puppy Imprinting FAQs
Puppy imprinting is an early training and development program designed to build strong foundations during your puppy’s most critical learning window. Through structured exposure, positive reinforcement training, and thoughtful routine building, we help shape confident, well-adjusted puppies from the start.
Puppies typically begin between 8–12 weeks of age, though slightly older puppies may still be good candidates. Earlier is always ideal so we can work within the prime socialization window. If you’re unsure about timing, I’m happy to help assess the best fit for your puppy.
The program is flexible and can run for 4, 8, or 12 weeks, depending on your goals, timeline, and your puppy’s individual needs.
Your puppy’s day includes:
Structured potty training routine
Crate training and calm settling
Foundational obedience (sit, down, recall, etc.)
Confidence-building exposures
Enrichment and play
Rest and decompression periods
Household socialization
Everything is carefully balanced to avoid overwhelm while maximizing learning.
When appropriate and safe, puppies have carefully supervised, structured interactions with well-matched dogs. Social time is always intentional — not free-for-all play.
Safety and positive experiences come first.
Potty training is built into your puppy’s structured daily routine using:
Frequent scheduled outdoor trips
Close supervision and management
Crate routine support
Reinforcement of outdoor success
Introduction to bell training to help puppies learn how to clearly signal when they need to go out
While no trainer can guarantee a fully house-trained puppy in a set timeframe, most puppies make significant progress during their stay.
Yes — crate training is a core part of the program. We build positive crate associations and help puppies learn to settle calmly, which supports future success at home.
Yes! You’ll receive regular photo and video updates so you can follow your puppy’s progress and feel connected throughout their stay.

My goal is to make the handoff smooth and set you up for continued success.
